At the end of the month, there are two great opportunities for the community of adoption!

Adoption Resource Exchange

The Ministry of the Children and Youth Services (MCYS) Adoption Resource Exchange Conference (ARE) happens bi-annually every year. The conference helps locate and match adoptive families with Ontario children needing adoption and is hosted in the Spring and Fall.

This conference is coming up! Don’t miss it!

ACO Education Day: Partners in Permanence, Strengthening Our Networks of Support

Education Day is an excellent opportunity for adoptive and pre-adoptive families, and the professionals who work with them, to learn and connect with one another.

It will feature workshops on Developmental Trauma, Attachment, Special Needs including FASD, Openness, Mindfulness, and more! There will be special presentations from Kim Stevens, program manager at North American Council on Adoptable Children (NACAC) and ACO’s Youth Network as well as the opportunity for networking.
