The Adoption Council of Ontario (ACO) would like to introduce you to our newly formed Youth Network. Thirteen teenagers met to create "Our Voices Matter", a group who will help to educate adults, advocate for youth, and provide peer to peer support. As the youth shared their stories with each other, they realized that of eleven youth who were adopted from foster care between the ages of five and twelve, they had collectively experienced over sixty family moves before becoming part of their forever family through adoption.

Who is adoptable? At the ACO and AdoptOntario, we believe that all children and youth have a right to a loving, committed and permanent family despite their age, siblings, race or ethnicity, gender, and medical or developmental needs.
AdoptOntario helps make the critical connections between Ontario families and children in the care of Children's Aid Societies who are waiting for a "forever family".
